- NOT an employer of service providers
- NOT a shipping carrier or logistics company
2.3 Service Availability
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available"
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- Service availability may vary by region
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using Medueti, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
3.2 Geographic Restrictions
The Service may not be available in all countries or regions. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
3.3 Account Restrictions
You may not use the Service if:
- You have been previously banned or suspended from Medueti
- You are required to register as a sex offender in any jurisdiction
- You have been convicted of a violent crime
- You are on any government sanctions list
4. User Accounts
4.1 Account Creation
To access most features, you must create an account by providing:
- Valid email address
- Full name
- Secure password

You may also register using third-party authentication (Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple).
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

5.2 Payment Processing
- Mobile Apps: Subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS)

- All prices are displayed in your local currency where available
5.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled:
- You will be charged at the beginning of each billing cycle
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- Manage subscriptions through your device's app store settings
5.4 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial periods (except as required by law)
- You retain access to subscription features until the end of the paid period
5.5 Refunds
Mobile Apps:
- Refund requests must be submitted through Google Play or Apple App Store
- Subject to their respective refund policies
Web/Stripe:
- Contact support@medueti.com within 14 days of purchase
- Refunds granted at our discretion for unused services
5.6 Price Changes
- We may change subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice
- Price changes take effect at the next billing cycle
- Continued use after price change constitutes acceptance
5.7 Free Trials
- Free trials may be offered for subscription plans
- You may be required to provide payment information
- Cancel before trial ends to avoid charges
- One free trial per user/payment method
6. Virtual Currency and Credits
6.1 Event Credits
Medueti offers Event Credits, a virtual currency used to:
- Create and promote events
- Purchase premium event features
- Boost event visibility
6.2 Purchase of Credits
- Credits are purchased through in-app purchases
- All credit purchases are final and non-refundable
- Credits have no monetary value outside Medueti
- Credits cannot be exchanged for cash
6.3 Credit Expiration
- Credits may expire if not used within 12 months of purchase
- We will notify you before expiration
- Expired credits cannot be restored
6.4 No Transfer
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts
- Credits cannot be sold, traded, or gifted
- Upon account termination, unused credits are forfeited
7. Marketplace Terms (Afroshops)
7.1 Seller Responsibilities
If you sell products on Afroshops, you agree to:
- Provide accurate product descriptions and images
- Honor listed prices and terms
- Ship products within stated timeframes
- Respond to buyer inquiries promptly
- Comply with all applicable laws (consumer protection, product safety, tax)
- Not sell prohibited items (see Section 7.4)
7.2 Buyer Responsibilities
If you purchase products on Afroshops, you understand that:
- Transactions are between you and the seller
- Medueti is not responsible for product quality, authenticity, or delivery
- You should review seller ratings and reviews before purchasing
- Payment is processed through our secure payment system
7.3 Fees and Commissions
- Sellers may be charged transaction fees or commissions
- Fees are disclosed before listing
- We reserve the right to modify fees with 30 days' notice
7.4 Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited from sale on Afroshops:
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition
- Counterfeit or stolen goods
- Adult/pornographic content
- Hazardous materials
- Live animals
- Human remains or body parts
- Items promoting hate or violence
- Items violating intellectual property rights
- Recalled or unsafe products
7.5 Disputes Between Buyers and Sellers
- Users should attempt to resolve disputes directly
- Medueti may, at its discretion, mediate disputes
- We reserve the right to issue refunds in cases of fraud or non-delivery
- Repeated disputes may result in account suspension
8. Services Directory Terms
8.1 Service Provider Responsibilities
If you offer services on Medueti, you agree to:
- Provide accurate descriptions of your services
- Honor quoted prices and availability
- Possess required licenses, certifications, and insurance
- Comply with all applicable professional regulations
- Not misrepresent your qualifications
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
8.2 Client Responsibilities
If you book services through Medueti, you understand that:
- Service providers are independent professionals, not Medueti employees
- You are responsible for evaluating provider qualifications
- Review ratings and portfolios before booking
- Communicate clearly about your requirements
8.3 Independent Contractor Status
Service providers are NOT employees of Medueti. We do not:
- Control how services are performed
- Set service provider rates
- Provide benefits or employment protections
- Withhold taxes on behalf of providers
8.4 Booking and Cancellation
- Booking terms are set by individual service providers
- Cancellation policies vary by provider
- Review provider policies before booking
- Medueti is not responsible for service quality or disputes
9. Events and Ticketing
9.1 Event Creation
- Users with appropriate accounts can create events
- Event creation may require Event Credits
- Organizers are responsible for event accuracy and delivery
- Events must comply with local laws and regulations
9.2 Event Organizer Responsibilities
As an event organizer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate event information (date, time, venue, description)
- Fulfill commitments to ticket holders
- Handle event cancellations and refunds appropriately
- Comply with venue and local regulations
- Not create fraudulent or misleading events
9.3 Ticket Purchases
- Tickets are sold by event organizers, not Medueti
- Ticket purchases are subject to organizer's terms
- Medueti is not responsible for event cancellations or changes
- Digital tickets/QR codes are valid only for the specified event
9.4 Event Cancellation
- Organizers must notify attendees of cancellations
- Refund policies are determined by the organizer
- Medueti may facilitate refunds in cases of fraud
- Medueti is not responsible for consequential damages (travel, accommodation)
10. Shipping and Logistics
10.1 Service Description
Medueti connects users who need to ship packages with travelers ("Travelers") willing to transport them. Medueti is NOT a shipping carrier.
10.2 Sender Responsibilities
As a sender, you agree to:
- Accurately describe package contents, weight, and dimensions
- Not ship prohibited items (see Section 10.4)
- Properly package items to prevent damage
- Provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses
- Compensate Travelers as agreed
10.3 Traveler Responsibilities
As a Traveler, you agree to:
- Accurately describe your travel route and availability
- Handle packages with reasonable care
- Deliver packages as agreed
- Comply with customs and import/export regulations
- Not accept prohibited items
10.4 Prohibited Shipments
The following items are prohibited from shipping:
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition
- Explosives, flammable materials
- Live animals
- Human remains
- Currency, negotiable instruments
- Items requiring special licenses
- Items violating import/export laws
10.5 Liability
- Medueti is NOT liable for lost, damaged, or delayed packages
- Users should obtain appropriate insurance
- Disputes between senders and Travelers should be resolved directly
- We may mediate but are not obligated to resolve disputes
10.6 Legal Compliance
Users are responsible for:
- Complying with customs regulations
- Paying applicable duties and taxes
- Obtaining required import/export permits
- Understanding and following airline/transportation regulations
11. User Content
11.1 Definition
"User Content" means all content you create, upload, post, or share on Medueti, including:
- Posts, comments, and messages
- Photos, videos, and audio
- Product and service listings
- Events and portfolios
- Reviews and ratings
- Profile information
11.2 Ownership
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by posting content on Medueti, you grant us:
A worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to:
- Use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate
- Create derivative works from
- Distribute and display your User Content
This license is for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service.

12. Messaging and Communications
12.1 End-to-End Encryption
Private messages on Medueti are protected with end-to-end encryption (AES-256):
- Only you and your intended recipient can read messages
- Medueti cannot access encrypted message content
- Encryption keys are stored on your device
12.2 Message Retention
- Messages are stored until you delete them
- Deleted messages are permanently removed after a retention period
- Account deletion removes all messages
12.3 Prohibited Communications
You agree NOT to use messaging for:
- Spam or unsolicited advertising
- Harassment, threats, or abuse
- Sharing illegal content
- Scams or fraud
- Distributing malware
12.4 Reporting Abuse
- Use the in-app reporting feature for abusive messages
- We may investigate and take action on reported content

13. Intellectual Property

20. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEDUETI AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
- Service interruption or data loss
- Unauthorized access to your data
- Conduct of third parties on the Service
- Any other matter relating to the Service
20.2 Liability Cap
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED:
- The amount you paid to Medueti in the 12 months preceding the claim, or
- €100 (one hundred euros), whichever is greater

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You acknowledge that these limitations are an essential basis of the agreement between you and Medueti, and that Medueti would not provide the Service without these limitations.
21. Indemnification
21.1 Your Indemnification Obligation
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Medueti and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your violation of any applicable laws
- Transactions between you and other users
21.2 Our Rights

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

- Proceedings shall be in English
- The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding
- Judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction
22.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND MEDUETI AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, NOT AS A CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
22.4 EU Consumer Rights
For users in the EU/EEA:
- You may bring claims in the courts of your country of residence
- You are entitled to protections under EU consumer protection laws

- We suspect fraudulent or illegal activity
- Your account poses a security risk
- Required by law or government request
- The Service is discontinued
23.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the Service is revoked
- You must cease all use of the Service
- We may delete your User Content
- Unused subscription time is not refunded (except as required by law)
- Unused credits are forfeited

- EU consumers may bring claims in their country of residence

These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights, except as expressly provided.
